Well, Who Am I?

a person looking out of a cave into the ocean

A few months prior to the creation of this website I had a resurgence of energy towards life I hadn’t felt in years. I felt like ‘me’ again. I’ve mentioned it briefly before, but I had been depressed for a good chunk of my life, but it especially reared it’s head 2020-2022. I wasn’t me then. Well, not completely. I’m reconstructed now and I wanna tell you who I am and why we are the same. There was a simple sentence that began to free me from the abyss.

I am redeemable.

I used to internalize shame and my wrong doings so deeply and let them seep into my perception of myself. I thought of my mistakes as something that had the capability of altering my character and poisoning the good in me. I was wrong in this.

Entirely wrong. Maybe you feel like this too? Or you have before ?

Maybe someone trained our little brains this way, but know it’s time to part ways with this thinking. You are redeemable. To make mistakes is to be human. You can break harmful patterns and you are not doomed to repeat stories from the past. Every passing second, minute, day, hour. You are redeemed. Just like me.
